Extended Call Management (ECM)

 

Bell Canada announces the addition of the following features to the Extended Call Management (SCAI) service:  Agent Desktop Features, Enabled Skills Based Routing, Centrex Non ACD Call Control, 19.2 Kbps ECM Link, and TCP/IP Switch to Host Connection.  A trial of these features will be held starting IQ2000.  Subject to market demand and technical viability, commercial service is expected to start IVQ2000.   This service was previously Disclosed in TAPAC Bulletin 93-03, dated March 24, 1993, and in BIA-7b, dated February 25, 1999.

Compatibility Impact:

None expected.

The interface is described in Northern Telecom document NIS-Q218-1, Version 08.01, "CompuCALL/Meridian SCAI Interface Specification".  Bell will invoice recipients $150 for each copy of this document.  Please note that this price is subject to change without notice.
