Documentation Update for Megalink Disclosure

Bell Canada announces an update to the Megalink Interface Disclosure documentation previously provided in Disclosure Notice TAPAC Bulletin No. 96-10, dated June 27, 1996 and in Bell document BID-0005, Megalink Terminal-to-Network Interface, dated June 1996, section 2.5.8.

The Bell document BID-0005 incorrectly states that Connected Party Name is delivered when a call is redirected. It should state that Connected Party Name is not delivered by the network on redirected or on non-redirected calls. This represents an error in the documentation only; there has not been any change to the interface.

On request, Bell will provide previous recipients of document BID-0005 with a revised page containing section 2.5.8, at no charge.
