Bell Canada
announces the publication of an updated version of BID-0024,
Public Emergency Reporting Service (9-1-1 PERS) Network-to-Network
Interface Between Local Service Providers and Bell Canada’s Network.
BID-0024
(Issue 5), dated September 2004, provides an update to the previous issue
to add specifications for a new CSS#7 ISUP trunk interface between Local
Service Provider (LSP) networks and the Bell Canada PERS call routing
switches.
The
specifications for the CSS#7 ISUP interface have been provided by the
addition of Sections 3.1.2 and 3.2.2. The
other sections of the document have not been changed (except to re-number
the sections in Chapter 3 to allow for insertion of these new sections).
Compatibility Impact:
The
introduction of the CCS#7 ISUP trunk interface will not have any impacts
on the compatibility of the existing MF Signalling interface specified in BID-0024.
